The Welkin

The Welkin is a play set in 1790’s England. A woman is accused of murder and during her trial, she claims she is pregnant so a jury of twelve women are brought in to determine if she is telling the truth. This design gives the viewer the “God perspective” of the women as they deliberate, signifying the power of having someone’s life in your hands.
